This kit works great for laundry tubs, washing machines, wet bars and dehumidifiers. Complete kit includes sump pump, check valve, basin and basin cover. Pump Features: The 1/3 HP submersible sump pump will move up to 48 gallons of water per minute. This pump is made of corrosion resistant thermoplastic and includes an adjustable tethered float switch with piggy back plug to automatically turn the pump on/off. The pump offers a powerful, yet energy efficient (4.1 Amp) thermally protected motor for longer life and durability. Featuring a thermoplastic impeller, 1-1/2 inch FIP discharge and 10 foot, replaceable, water proof power cord. Sump pump has side inlets for increased water flow, will handle 3/8 inch solids and is equipped with a suction screen on the bottom. Pump is UL/CUL listed and CSA certified. Basin Features: The 6 gallon basin is constructed from corrosion resistant structural foam and includes a high quality molded reusable PVC seal. This air admittance valve (AAV) provides the ideal venting solution for island sinks, remote bathroom groups, and remodel jobs by eliminating the need to be connected directly into the stack vent. This AAV keeps the sewer and atmospheric pressures equalized, allowing water to drain freely. Its one-way valve is designed to allow air to enter the plumbing drainage system when negative pressures develop without the use of a vent extended to open air and to prevent sewer gases from escaping into the building. The Oatey Sure-Vent AAV is sensitive to pressure changes to consistently open and close as needed by the plumbing system, closing by gravity and sealing the vent terminal at zero differential pressure (no flow conditions) and under positive internal pressures.
